Beautiful Caroline Wozniacki enjoyed her best Grand Slam run in US Open by defeating giant killer Melanie Oudin 6-2 6-2 to reach this year’s semifinal yesterday. In the semis, she is against Yanina Wickmayer from Belarus who defeated Alona Bondarenko‘s sister, Kateryna 7-5 6-4. 1 step away from the possible Final against American favourite, Serena Williams who will be going all out to defeat comeback queen, Kim Clijsters in the other semis, world no. 8 Wozniacki is hoping that her good run lately at the recent concluded Pilot Pen Tennis Tournament at New Haven will continue.
Hot Wozniacki won Pilot Pen without dropping a set and dropping no more than 7 games in each match. She won over surprise package Russian Elena Vesnina 6-2 6-4 in the final to successfully defend her title which she won last year. This was her 3rd title of the year.
