Thrilling 1st match for Danish beauty Caroline Wozniacki against hot Azarenka
Danish beauty Caroline Wozniacki fought a nail biting 3-hours battle to win her 1st match in Sony Ericsson Championships – Doha 2009 against sexy Belarusian Victoria Azarenka 1-6 6-4 7-5. Both attractive debutants in the season-ending events fought their way out as they go against each other demonstrating their talents and beauty on court. Azarenka stood out early among the two sexy beauties by winning the 1st set with 11 winners to just 5 unforced errors. In the 2nd set featured an incredible 14-deuce fifth game where Azarenka fended off seven break points to hold serve for a 3-2 lead. Wozniacki kept on the fight and eventually served out after breaking for 5-4.
In the 3rd set, Azarenka won the first 2 games and eventually served for the match at 5-3. However, she got broken and finally had match point at 5-4. A miss by hitting a long forehand eventually saw Wozniacki made it 5-5. Looking upon the turn of event, Azarenka lost her cool. After falling behind on her serve at 5-5 15-30, she smacked a ball out of the stadium. She was given a penalty smacking her racquet as she trailed 15-40 which gave Wozniacki a 6-5 lead. Finally in the last game, a service winner on match point sealed the victory for Wozniacki.
Both beauties will next play Vera Zvonareva who replaced the injured Dinara Safina.
